Sofab Sports CIC is a social enterprise that was founded in 2014 by Dale Rawlins, at the age of 16. An integral goal of ours is to provide training and employment opportunities for individuals overcoming various hardships in their lives. At Sofab Sports, more than 60% of our workforce have a physical or mental disability, have previously been homeless or are reforming and reintegrating back into mainstream society. We are proud to have employed and enabled over 60 staff members transition into secure full time employment, find appropriate living accommodation and move from a care home setting to independent living.
All of our products are 100% genuine, sourced through the UK’s largest specialist wholesalers. Our products cover a wide variety of sports ranging from Premier League football and F1, to NBA merchandise and golf attire. You will also find your favourite brands such as Nike, adidas, Under Armour and Gymshark on our online store.
Our story began in a retail store in Gloucester’s town centre where we sold discounted, end of line top branded sportswear. As consumer buying habits changed, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, we decided to shut our store and move online to best meet the needs of our customers. This is how we continue to trade today.
Sofab Sports is a social enterprise that exists purely on consumer trading and we do not ask for Government funding to support our company. There is much more value in your purchase than the goods you receive, you are also allowing us to positively impact the futures of many lives.
